In the year 2000, after finishing my studies of Electrical Power Engineering, I became research associate at the Chair for Information Technologies at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Here, I went deep into the field of knowledge management (KM) and web technologies for intranets and led a very interesting and exciting KM-project including an intranet relaunch at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) (more).

In 2008, I became freelancer and basically continued my work for the Fraunhofer IIS (focus intranet development) and the Chair for Information Technologies (focus KM-research).

Additionally, I sometimes reenter the field of electrical power engineering as consultant e.g. for research proposals.

Furthermore, I work as Third Party Inspector especially (but not limited to) in the field of electrical power engineering.
